While the idea of people monetizing their data has been around for some time, numerous factors have finally made it possible and worthwhile:

- Tools now exist for people to easily and securely aggregate their data - which is highly differentiated when combined in one place by a person

- Regulations are forcing new approaches that protect privacy and limit online tracking and data brokers

​- The monetary potential of high quality data and insights has become dramatically more valuable in research and other industries - an UBDI user can earn $5-$250 per participant per research study with little effort, earning potentially thousands of dollars per year

Giving people an income & an equity stake in the future value of their data

UBDI, currently issued as points, will be transferred into a digital currency in the future. UBDI points track individuals contributions & are how members share in the future economic value of their individual data contributions and how they get a stake in the community as a whole.

Our treasury will function to distribute the 60% of tokens allocated to members, while also determining the most effective ways to share revenue with token holders.
